Due to a "lingering injury" he sustained against the San Jose Sharks, Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks recently missed his first game in eight years.
Kane didn'tplay in last nightsgame between the Chicago Blackhawks and Calgary Flames becausethe injury is still present. According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun Times, Kane will start a treatment program this week. We send Kane our best wishes as he recovers from his injuries.
Patrick Kane (lower body) will not play tonight. The team doesn't play again until Thursday, so they want to give him a few more days to heal. #Blackhawks
