BREAKING: The Edmonton Oilers Are Getting a New Sports Radio Station and The Dates Revealed
Edmonton's sports radio scene is about to get a revival.
After TSN 1260's departure due to Bell Media's cuts in June, a fresh station named Sports 1440 is set to hit the airwaves on September 5.
Collaborating with Stingray Radio, Just A Game Productions, and The Nation Network (parent company of Oilers Nation), Sports 1440 will feature well-known local radio personalities like Jason Gregor and Allan Mitchell (also known as "Lowetide").
The station aims to deliver diverse sports commentary, insights, and entertainment to Edmonton listeners. Gregor expressed excitement for the opportunity, emphasizing the strong sports passion in the local community.
