The Vancouver Canucks season has been awful compared to what the team was looking like during the off-season, on paper that is. The team is currently in 26-32nd place with a 17-20-3 record, and it appears no winning will be coming along anytime soon due to recent struggles throughout their entire roster.

Today on Thursday January 12th the Vancouver Canucks staff shared that they'll be facing yet another tough challenge as a forward be missing the remainder of the season due to an injury needing surgery.

General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Tanner Pearson underwent a second hand surgery yesterday after a setback in his recovery, and he will miss the remainder of the 2022.23 season.

Additional information: Pearson's surgery yesterday was his second procedure since the original surgery in November.
