Cameras Catch Greenway and Nurse's Uncensored Trash Talking
The Edmonton Oilers and Minnesota Wild met last night in a very entertaining game, unfortunately for the Oilers they came out on the losing end being unable to get any offense going in a 2-1 loss.
However, the game had some physicality to it as the Wild and Oilers game seemed game felt like a playoff atmosphere. One of the altercations was between Minnesota Wild's Jordan Greenway and Edmonton Oilers Darnell Nurse. During a scrum Greenway would absolutely trash Nurse saying:
You're the worst $9 million dollar player I've met in my life, Honestly how'd you do that? You make $9 million dollars a year and you don't do sh*t!
We don't know if Greenway actually believes that or just wanted to get under Nurse's skin. Nurse the 27 year-old Oilers defenceman has 4 goals, and 12 assists with a plus 11 rating in 29 games this season, while Greenway only makes just $3 million dollars annually has 1 goal and 1 assist in 12 games with the the Wild.
Ironically 3 years ago to the day, Darnell Nurse and Jordan Greenway would drop the gloves in 2019
