Hockey Fights Cancer, which has been provided by the NHL, is one of the best fan programs in recent memory. Unfortunately for one Maple Leafs fan, they were diagnosed with this terrible disease Just before the Christmas holiday began.

Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner, discovered this news and decided to give her a Christmas gift she will never forget. After watching her video, he signed a jersey from hockey fights cancer and sent it over to her with a video from @marnerassistfoundation to cheer her on.

As a fan of hockey and the thoughtfulness of Marner, I have to say it is an incredible gift to give to someone facing such adversity, especially at a time when family comes together to spend the holidays. We will be looking forward to seeing and reading more about these stories. Hats off to you Mr. Marner!
