The Edmonton Oilers had what many called a Cinderellarun making it to the Western Conference Finals before being eliminated by the Colorado Avalanche.
However, Oilers captain Connor Mcdavid wants to prove it wasn't and came into the 2022-23 season in God mode, destroying the competition with 64 goals, and 89 assists.
In fact, McDavid Joined the Great One Wayne Gretzky for most games earning at least a point in 75 games this season.
McDavid would also win some more trophies for the trophy case, winning his fifth Art Ross trophy, and first Rocket Richard Trophy.
These personal awards are awesome no doubt but if you asked McDavid the only trophy that McDavid wants is the Stanley Cup, and if McDavid can keep dominating in the playoffs like he did in the regular season the Oilers have a good chance of winning.
