He also gave a special shoutout to the Calgary Flames fans, who are known for their passionate rivalry with the Oilers, no doubt looking to get them rolling in the salt they stew in.
The Battle of Alberta has been a thrilling rivalry for years, and McDavid seems determined to keep the excitement going even during the off-season.
His recent comment was a bit backhanded, but also quite humorous.
