Connor McDavid receives a birthday gift from host Gene Principe
Recently Connor McDavid celebrated his 26 birthday and like his low profile self, he seemed quite awkward during an intermission interview with host Gene Principe.
Principe took the time to wish McDavid a Happy Birthday, while offering him a card with Connor written on the envelope along with a piece of cake.
McDavid had a laugh and thanked Principe.
Certainly, McDavid doesn't eat much sweets as he is one of the fastest straight-line skaters in the league with the puck on his stick, so I'd bet he left it for after the game.
Perhaps a win would go nicely with a piece of birthday cake to ring in his 26 year in style.
