Evander Kane continues to shine his kindness with kids.

It has been very evident with the Edmonton Oilers as the team has spent an enormous amount of time with children like the late Ben Stelter who cheered on his hometown team and spent as much time as possible at the rink and during the 2021-2022 playoffs before he passed away at the age of 6.

One child that has befriended an oiler is Evander Kane and Cecily Ecklund. Ecklund is the brain cancer survivor and has seen spending many hours with Kane at different events including her birthday party at a bowling alley, watching him play when they played the Los Angeles Kings in the first round of this year's playoffs, now was that her first ever Edmonton Elks game courtesy of the Oilers forward.

Despite his troubles, Kane is continuing to show great selflessness with the fan base and also enjoying spending time with this young hockey fan.
