Who remembers tough guy Georges Laraque? Laraque was a true breed with his fighting skill around the NHL, a former Oiler of 8+ years and he finished off his career with the Montreal Canadiens on a short stint.

Laraque is now a radio host and recently revealed why the Canadiens shipped Subban out of Montreal, and it now makes a lot of sense.

Subban stated just one week ago during a podcast that he felt disrespected by the Habs due to them not being able to work out a deal so he chose to leave, but the real reason has been revealed...

Laraque state don the BPM Sports radio that Marc Bergevin, the Canadiens general manager, traded Subban away due to complaints from the teams core players Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher.

The reason why P.K Subban got trade is because of two players, Max Pacioretty and Brandan Gallagher.

Brendan Gallagher really did not like Subban at all. PK. Subban knew that Gallagher didn't like him.

In the locker room, Pacio and Gally really didn't like him. They would go see the GM Marc Bergevin and tell him we want him out.

The only reason the Canadiens could have kept Subban is if they traded Pacioretty and Gallagher.
