Last season Edmonton Oilers goaltender Mike Smith helped backstop the Edmonton Oilers to the Western Conference Finals.
Unfortunately for Smith after being eliminated by the Colorado Avalanche it was revealed that Smith was injured and placed on long-term inured reserve this season, and likely his career is over.
Smith decided to come visit the boys for Hockey day in Canada, hanging out before the game we would get this sweet pic between Smith and Leon Draisaitl, who were very close as teammates.
The Oilers would pick up another win as the Oilers went from battling for a playoff spot, they're now looking to win the Pacific Division to have home ice advantage.
