Former Oilers star makes a special announcement to the world.
From time to time, as an NHL fan, it's always nice to see the human side of the NHL player rather than just the player himself. Sometimes players will show off their new homes or make a family announcement that put smiles on people's faces.
Former Oilers star Taylor Hall along with his wife Rachel Rush announced to Twitter that their family is about to get bigger with a new baby on the way.
According to the tweet, their little bundle of joy will be arriving this October.
The 31-year-old left winger had a quieter year with the Boston Bruins where he played 61 games, and scored sixteen goals with 20 assists for 36 points.
He was a + 11 and had 24 penalty minutes. Keep in mind he did have injuries during this season which held him back and lowered his point totals.
We want to congratulate Taylor and Rachel for their fantastic news and wish them all the best in the new chapter of their lives with a healthy and safe baby.
