Golden Knights star forward anxious with Mcdavid and Oilers.
This season happens to be a special one for Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel. Eichel spent the bulk of his career with the Buffalo Sabres and had a disastrous ending and bitter divorce after the Sabres refused to do the surgery on his neck that he requested.
After the trade to the Golden Knights and his surgery off-season, Eichel has never looked any better now he gets to try his hand at the playoffs for the first time.
After going through round one he was in a media scrum after the practice today and was discussing his views on meeting the Oilers and Connor McDavid.
His interview certainly was a very hockey-style interview with many euphemisms and hockey lingo but you could tell that he may be a little anxious to meet the best two players in the world currently.
This series will have many looks to it with physicality, great, and scoring prowess with all the firepower between the two teams. It's safe to say that this is going to be one of the more entertaining series left in the NHL playoffs this season.
The Oilers and the Golden Knights will meet on Wednesday, May 3rd. Game time will be 9:30pm.
