Intriguing Trade Proposal That Would Send Patrick Kane to The Edmonton Oilers
It looks like after spending 16 years with the Chicago Blackhawks Patrick Kane will be getting traded to a different team come March 3rd. Kane has played 1156 games for the Blackhawks and has 1215 career points with them.
It is definitely going to be weird seeing Kane wear a different jersey, but that leaves us with a question on what team he will be traded to?Well right now the front runners are the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Oilers have hung around in conversations as well.
It was linked by an NHL insider that Kane would be willing to accept a trade to the Maple Leafs.
With that being said, the Daily Faceoff put out what it would cost for the Oilers to acquire Kane.
It may suck that the Oilers have to give up their top prospect, but GM Ken Holland should be willing to give up quite a bit to let McDavid, Draisaitl and the Oilers have their best chance at winning a cup. Kane would be a big addition to their top 6 and would also help them on their power play.
