It Was A Milestone Night For A Edmonton Oilers Forward

The Edmonton Oilers are primed to take another run at the Stanley Cup, after falling short losing to the Colorado Avalanche in the Western Conference Final last season.

The Oilers finished the regular season on the right foot defeating the San Jose Sharks Thursday night. However, one thing might of been overlooked and that was it was a special game for Oilers forward Derek Ryan.

The 36 year-old would play in his 500th career game, a very impressive accomplishment. Ryan is in his second year with the Oilers he's been a hidden gem this season on the bottom six adding some offence with 13 goals, and 7 assists in 80 games.
