Jack Campbell Makes Playoff Debut As Stuart Skinner Has an Awful Performance in Period 1
Stuart Skinner received some disappointing news during tonight's LA Kings vs Edmonton Oilers game 4. After a shaky first period, in which he gave up three goals on eleven shots, he was informed that he would not be in net for the second period. Instead, Jack Campbell would be taking his place, making his first appearance in this year's playoffs.
While it's never easy for a player to be pulled from a game, it was likely the right decision for the Oilers. Skinner had a rough start to the game, and the team needed a change to try and turn things around. Campbell has been a reliable backup for the Oilers throughout his last few games of the regular season, hopefully, his presence in net will help give the Oilers a boost and turn the tide in their favor.
