In Game 6 of the Vegas Golden Knights - Edmonton Oilers series, a lot went wrong for the Oilers.
Including the officiating, which may have costed the Oilers their season.
Mattias Ekholm experienced this first hand during game six, after taking a brutal high stick to his right cheek cutting him badly, it went uncalled and may have been a turning point in the game if called.
The Oilers' defenseman, was seen at end of season exit interviews supporting a gruesome black eye, due to the high stick in game 6. His eye is also bright red, and irritated, as the whole right side of his face is buffy.
Oilers fans and players are still pretty heated after the game six loss on Sunday night. Fans jumping all over the refs, as multiple times things did not go the Oilers way. Mattias Ekholms black eye is a great example of this.
