With a record of 2-5-1, the Edmonton Oilers take on the 6-1-1 Dallas Stars tonight in an attempt to improve upon it.

Consequently, they've called up a player they originally drafted in 2007, namely a recent signing from the AHL.

"Happy to see him back & healthy & playing in the NHL."

Connor McDavid speaks about the addition of Sam Gagner to the team ahead of tonight's tilt vs. the Stars.

Sam Gagner, a recent signing, was called up by the team, and Connor McDavid expressed his excitement.

With his third stint with the Oilers, Gagner has been impressing the team with his AHL performance.

He scored 1 goal and 5 points in 3 games with the Bakersfield Condors.

With all the offensive help they need, Gagner will be an excellent addition to the team.

Connor McDavid expressed his happiness that Gagner was healthy and back in the NHL.
