After every NHL game, reporters and the teams' fanbase await to hear what the thoughts are from their stars. Today after a 6-5 loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Oilers superstar centre Connor McDavid weighed in on his thoughts on his team's performance.
He mentioned the fact that the Oilers' start was dismal and quite embarrassing to see as the Blue Jackets had four goals to start before the Oilers answered back. Luckily the Oilers did make a game of it and managed to get back in however at the end of the game according to McDavid the results were still the same.
McDavid himself had a very good game with two goals and two assists and a + 3. He had a total ice time of 22 minutes and 50 seconds. The 26-year-old megastar has been putting on a clinic in a show for all the NHL to see concerning his offensive talent.
Having played 60 games, he has scored an incredible 48 goals, with 65 assists for an eye-popping 111 points. This has not been seen for many years if not decades and who knows how far he will go this season.
With the trade deadline looming, we will need to see what Ken Holland has in store and what kind of pieces he can bring in to help solidify this team's playoff run and shot at the Stanley Cup.
