NHL Network Analyst Reveals Oilers Officially Express Interest in Veteran Defensemen as well as three others
David Pagnotta, a NHL Network Analyst and also publisher of the Fourth Period recent revealed some intriguing information that Oilers fans may want to take a look at.
Pagnotta revealed that his close sources disclosed that the Oilers are officially interested in 33-year old defensemen Kevin Shattenkirk, who is with the Anaheim Ducks. He also mentioned that the Oilers have expressed interest in John Klingberg, also of the Anaheim Ducks, as well as Jakob Chychrun and Joel Edmundson.
"Oilers GM Ken Holland wants to bolster his blueline, but is also looking for a second-line winger and a bottom-six forward to add to his roster." Pagnotta said.

The Ducks will require Shattenkirk to submit his 12 team no trade list, and if the Oilers aren't on it, we may see a deal in the works.. possibly Puljujarvi heading the other way?
