Breaking News from TSN's Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reporting the The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired Edmonton Oilers forward Jesse Puljujärvi.
The 24 year-old was the Oilers 1st round pick 4th overall back in 2016 but hasn't unfortunately lived up to the expectations the Oilers were hoping for.
Puljujarvi is a pending RFA this summer and is currently making $3 million dollars, and had 5 goals and 9 assists in 58 games this season. This gives the Edmonton $4,000,000 in cap space for Jakob Chychrun or Gavrikov.
