With the power of Twitter and the internet, people are recording everything that surrounds them now more than ever. Whether it's tornado footage or an impressive feat someone accomplished, everything is being shared on the web for the world to see. Unfortunately, this also includes instances of violence or terrible acts committed toward others.
One such incident occurred recently when a young woman was being jumped in a parking lot. Someone, of course, was recording this shocking event, but what they captured was not only interesting but also a little amusing.
As the brawl unfolded, her boyfriend appeared out of nowhere, executing a superhero-like leap to fend off one of the attackers. What made it even more memorable was that the guy was wearing an Oilers jersey.
Coming to her rescue, he managed to pull off a few of the attackers and both quickly retreated, hurling numerous expletives and other offensive words at them.
Although the video doesn't reveal why the attack occurred in the first place, it certainly highlights how humanity has evolved, with the person holding the camera opting to record the incident rather than lend a helping hand.
