Despite the Edmonton Oilers being over .500% with a 18-15-2 record, they are currently out of the playoffs sitting 5th in Pacific Division.
Now that we are heading into the second half of the season, Oilers General Manager Ken Holland is looking to improve his team and looks like Holland is looking to add some grit and toughness also due to the temporary loss of Evander Kane.
According to Sportsnet's Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman, the Oilers are interested in acquiring the services of St Louis Blues forward Noel Acciari. The 31 year-old has 8 goals and 12 assists this season and is a unrestricted free agent this off-season.
