The Edmonton Oilers are offering a new ticket package for the 2023-24 season.
This is actually very smart. A lot of AHL teams do it and it's successful, so it makes sense for the Oilers to offer this unique ticket package at the NHL level. It is great for fans who don't want to commit to season tickets but also don't want to spend a lot of money on single-game tickets, so a few-game package is convenient.
Packages range from 4 to 11 tickets and they start at $350. If Edmonton is successful in increasing revenue and selling more tickets more NHL teams may try this ticketing model. An increase in revenue and happier fans is a win win for everyone.
