Oilers fan favorite is on the move...
Oilers fan favorite and forward Klim Kostin has continued his rapid acceleration through the Oilers' lineup. This morning, he was placed on the Oilers' top line with Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman.
Kostin has been having a great season with the Oilers, he was acquired in a trade with the St Louis Blues last season. He has played 23 games and has five goals and 4 assists for nine points. He has scored three goals in three games. He has currently matched his best season total in points in half the time.
The 23-year-old center has certainly won over the fans since his debut with the Oilers. Several Oilers fans have even expressed their view that he should be voted into the NHL All-Star game.
Being alongside McDavid and playing the winger role rather than at center it will be intriguing to see if Kostin's game will explode. My guess is his game will improve immensely because he is one of the best players on the planet.
