Today, the Seattle Kraken hosted the NHL's annual Winter Classic outdoor game against the Vegas Golden Knights. For each Winter Classic, the league puts a show on around the game, and this years' was no different. However, out of all the sideline entertainment from today, the best may have been Paul Bissonette's beef with the Kraken mascot, Buoy.

Bissonette was dunked into a tank of water earlier by the mascot as part of the festivities, and it initiated a broadcast-long fight between the TV analyst and the mascot. While on the broadcast, the Kraken mascot snuck up on Biz with a pair of boxing gloves, and the two went at it.

After chasing around for a while, Biz laid a massive vintage body check on the mascot, and topped it off with a wrestling style bodyslam. It was a hilarious scene from one of hockey's most influential figures. This type of hilarious and engaging content on the broadcast really livens up some of the more dull parts of television that are plaguing the Canadian broadcasts.

The Seattle Kraken went on to defend their home ice against the reigning cup champs in Vegas, winning the game by a score of 3-0. Goaltender Joey Daccord even recorded the first shutout in the history of the NHL winter classic. Overall, this year's winter classic was an overwhelming success for the NHL.
