REPORT: It's Confirmed That The Oilers Are About to Complete a Trade
Frank Seravalli has revealed some huge news this morning regarding Edmonton Oilers forward Jesse Puljujarvi, the 24-year old forward is reportedly about to be traded.
Puljujarvi has yet to live up to the top-5 overall pick projections he should have and has not broken out of his shell, Puljujarvi has stated he feels a lot of pressure playing on the Oilers with McDavid, many predict Puljujarvi will bloom with a different organization that has a smaller market. He holds a $3 million annual salary that is set to expire this summer..
Frank Seravalli has stated the teams showing final interest are the Florida Panthers, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the St.Louis Blues.
Seravalli has stated something interesting though, he doesn't believe St.Louis and Tampa would be able to take on Puljujarvi's contract so a third team may need to be involved to take on some salary cap. Seravalli suggests the Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes or the Montreal Canadiens could be that third team jumping in to take on salary cap if it can benefit the organization long-term.
