Now that the Vancouver Canucks fired Bruce Boudreau Sunday morning, much later then expected, they hired Rick Tocchet as his replacement, Tocchet would make his Canucks Coaching debut vs the Chicago Blackhawks.

We don't know if this was a angry Canucks fan or former head Coach Bruce Boudreau, but not even 5 minutes into the 1st period with no score a fan tossed a Canucks Jersey on the ice. My guess he's not a fan of Rick Tocchet.

The Canucks Dakota Joshua and Sheldon Dries scored goals 34 seconds apart in the third period as the Vancouver Canucks battled back from two one-goal deficits to defeat Chicago 5-2 and give Rick Tocchet a win in his first game as Vancouver's Head Coach.

Tocchet was quick to congratulate his new team after the game as he still has to get to know many of these players Tocchet has never met.

Tocchet did met with the media afterwards here's the interview.
