Last week, Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Jarred Tinordi suffered a frightening wound after being sliced by a skate, which resulted in blood pouring out of his chin. He required 50 to 100 stitches, according to the team's medical personnel, but he was still able to play the entire game.
A little more than seven days later, when Tinordi's chin stitching got to work, he removed his full-face shield helmet, and the misery just kept coming.
The Rangers' Sammy Blais took a slapshot that hit Tinordi; whether the shot tore his stitching apart or not, there was blood all over the place.
