Team Canada is set to host the 2022-23 World Junior Hockey Championship from Halifax Nova Scotia, and Moncton New Brunswick, as they look to defend their throne.
With a team loaded of stars, Canada could definitely repeat as gold medal champions again. Monday night Canada played their first pre-tournament game vs Team Switzerland.
Before the game we would see some hilarious gamesmanship between Team Switzerland's Vincent Despont and Team Canada's Brennan Othmann. The two players would challenge each other to see who would be the last player off the ice.
Despont would go off first leaving Othmann on by his leg. Despont would skate out and back in but Othmann would out wit the Swiss player on this occasion. As for the game Canada would win in convincing fashion 6-0 over the Swiss.
