Before the NHL requires teams to be cap compliant by Monday, the Edmonton Oilers have finally submitted their opening night roster.

In this season's lineup, the team will have 11 forwards, 8 defensemen, and 2 goalies.

The #LetsGoOilers opening roster appears set & has $395K Proj Cap Space for 21 players (11F/8D/2G)

This includes Niemelainen, who cannot be sent down until medically cleared (& clears waivers)

With no roster moves, can fit $1.8M Annual Cap Hit @ Deadline

The projected lineup on DailyFaceoff.com features Jack Campbell and Stuart Skinner as the team's goalie tandem. Jay Woodcroft detailed that the NHL is a 2 goalie league now, and it looks like they're following suit.

Eight defensemen will form the defense core, with Darnell Nurse and Cody Ceci as the first pair, Mattias Ekholm and Evan Bouchard as the second pair, and Brett Kulak and Vincent Desharnais as the third pair. Philip Broberg and Markus Niemaleinen are likely to be the team's seventh and eighth defensemen.

According to Daniel Nugent-Bowman of the Athletic, Evander Kane, Connor McDavid, and Connor Brown make up the Edmonton Oilers' top line.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Leon Draisaitl, and Zach Hyman comprise the second line. Your Oilers' third line consists of Dylan Holloway, Ryan McLeod, and Warren Foegele. Last but not least, your depth forwards are Mattias Janmark and Derek Ryan.
