The Kings bring out the rough and tough side of McDavid.
Oilers superstar Connor McDavid had the best year of his career this season in almost every metric measured in the game. The stats dump he showed the NHL fans is incredible for one player.
Having played 82 games, scoring 64 goals with 89 assists for 153 points along with a + 22 and 21 power-play goals and 71 power-play points.
Those numbers are just mind-boggling but it seems that in these playoffs the LA Kings bring out the physical side of McDavid where he has shown the ability to throw a great body check and even draw a penalty.
While skating through the neutral ice of the rink, McDavid just levels LA Kings forward Victor Arvidsson along the boards.
Within seconds after that hit McDavid tripped up on the ice however was able to draw a tripping penalty against centerman Phillip Denault.
McDavid needs to do this since he's having a bit of a slower start to his playoff with only one assist in two games. The Kings have decided to use Denault in the role that he's done best which is shutting down the opponent's best player.
Game four will be on Monday, April 23rd. Game time will be at 10:00 PM Eastern.
