Evander Kane Gets The Ultimate Revenge on Drew Doughty After Hitting McDavid
In Game 1 of the Round 1 Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and the LA Kings, Drew Doughty warned that he and his teammates would target Connor McDavid.
While the Kings haven't been able to slow down the Oilers' superstar with their play, they've resorted to cheap shots. In Game 3, Doughty delivered a knee-on-knee hit to McDavid, but justice was served when Evander Kane got sweet revenge by plowing into Doughty later in the game.
The referees may not have been able to properly do their job in Game 3, but Kane made sure that justice was served on the ice. It remains to be seen if the Kings will continue their cheap tactics against McDavid in future games.
