The Oilers have welcomed Evander Kane back into the lineup, and are forced to make some roster moves to free up cap space.
The Oilers need to free up more than $5 million, and have decided to do so by placing Ryan Murray on long-term injury reserve. As well as with recent news about Kailer Yamamoto's significant injury, the Oilers have decided to take the safe route and place him on LTIR.
