The Real Reason Why The Oilers Played at 10PM Revealed
There is talk circulating that the NHL requested ESPN to reschedule last night's playoff game between the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers to 8 pm.
The NHL made this request and then wanted ESPN to move the MLB game to ESPN2 to accommodate the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers.
However, according to Dan Kingerski, ESPN did not agree to trade games with TNT. If this request is confirmed, it raises concerns about whether ESPN is the best broadcasting partner for the NHL.
The network has been inflexible and provided subpar coverage lately, which has been unpopular with fans. This situation could further strain the relationship between the NHL and ESPN, thanks to Gary Bettman.
