Tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers has not gone well for the Oilers thus far. After going into the first intermission, being down 1-0 from a goal by Joel Farabee, who received a pass from Flyers rookie forward Bobby Brink, they expected a better outcome going into the second period.

In the opening minutes of the second period, the Oilers suffered one of the worst sequences in this early season. McDavid and Evander Kane collided in their own end, which shook up the superstar.

The Flyers then received the pass, which went into the Oilers' end. Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard bobbled the puck, and Owen Tippett managed to steal it and pass it to Cam Atkinson, who buried the puck past Campbell.

With the Oilers down 2-0 going into the third period, Oilers fans and coaching staff hope that McDavid, Draisaitl, and the rest of their core wake up and begin to push the Flyers.
