Oilers fans are eager to see what general manager Ken Holland has in store for their roster as the March 3rd trade deadline approaches. Holland will certainly search the league for help on all three levels as he looks to address numerous needs.

As an example, the St Louis Blues need to change their personnel. General manager Doug Armstrong has made it clear that the team needs a change for a few months now. There have been several names floated as potential candidates, such as Ryan O'Reilly and Ivan Barbershev.

News has surfaced from Frank Seravalli, that the Blues have reached out to the Oilers and inquired about beleaguered Oilers winger Jesse Puljujarvi.

He is a 6-foot-4, 201-pound Swedish winger who was drafted in the first round 4th overall, and he has been a complete bust for the Oilers. Oilers fans know they need better than this, and their focus at the deadline will be defense. Their current defense core is not up to par.

My guess would be the Oilers would package him along with a draft choice to make a deal with the Blues.
