According to the tweet, the young fan has been watching Oilers' pumped-up videos on YouTube up to 50 times a day. As a new dad myself, it's always heartwarming to see young children emulating their hockey heroes and enjoying the game in their basements.
There's plenty to be excited about as the new season kicks off with the rookie training camp in full swing, and the Oilers are set to play their first game on September 24th against the Winnipeg Jets in the preseason. The official season opener of the 82-game schedule is scheduled for October 12th when they will face the Vancouver Canucks.
