BREAKING: Martin St. Louis leaving Montreal Canadiens indefinitely
Moments ago, the Montreal Canadiens issued a significant report that their head coach and legendary former NHLer, Martin St. Louis, will be taking a leave from the team indefinitely.
The Canadiens announced on Saturday that head coach Martin St-Louis will be away from the team indefinitely for family reasons. Assistant coach Trevor Letowski will assume head coaching duties during his absence.
In an interview with TVA Sports, Habs defenceman David Savard mentioned that the team is vying to win tonight for St. Louis' son.
The Canadiens' statement was very brief, and only explained that St. Louis's absence is for family reasons. The assistant coach will take over St. Louis' duties for the time being.
Obviously, it can't be anything positive that would take St. Louis away from the team for any amount of time. Whatever he's dealing with his in family, millions of Habs fans and hockey fans will send their support for St. Louis.
