It's usually common practice for NHL teams to keep their problems in the dressing room to themselves and out of the media. Many players have no interest in airing out their dirty laundry in front of cameras or on the web.

During the past few years, players have begun to express issues that have cropped up in the dressing room and this seems to have been apparent with the Colorado Avalanche.

The team decided to ship centerman Ryan Johansen to the Flyers for Sean Walker and first round pick. Reports are surfacing that there has been friction and turmoil within the dressing room towards Johansen by several players on the team.

General manager Chris McFarland felt that Johansen needed to be moved on and that it would solve the issue. It will be very curious to know what went on in that dressing room and what happened to Johansson as he was immediately waved by the Flyers as he holds a $5,000,000 cap hit.

It seems strange that a team that's in a full rebuild with strike out a $5,000,000 centreman in a blink of an eye.

At some point, Johansen may express what happened in Denver.
