Jack Campbell, the Edmonton Oilers goalie, has had a tough 48 hours after being demoted to Bakersfield of the AHL.

His salary cap hit is too high for some NHL teams to absorb, so he would clear waivers and report to the Condors.

Jack Campbell speaks about being sent down to the AHL.

He allowed four goals on 20 shots against the Abbotsford Canucks in the AHL.

As well as that, he took a shot at the Oilers for sending him back to the AHL, stating that the numbers didn't accurately reflect his play.

Adding on three teams and five seasons later, this was also his first AHL loss since December 29th, 2018.

Again, it sounds like he isn't happy with his position now that he is back in the AHL after playing with the LA Kings and Ontario Reign in 2018.

Before being waived, Campbell had played 5 games in the NHL with a 1-4 record and .873 SV%.
