Edmonton Oilers Goaltender Stuart Skinner makes a surprise change
Stuart Skinner, the Edmonton Oilers goalie, has made a huge change since the Heritage Classic victory.
He followed up his epic Heritage Classic pad set up with a set of pads matching the Oilers alternate jersey.

With this being the last season the Oilers will be wearing them, Skinner will be wearing matching pads on Thursday.
Since the gear does not contain any white, it makes it more appealing than typical NHL goaltender gear. There does not seem to be any change in the mask, but the pads look similar to last year's.
Mike Smith wore a similar setup, consisting primarily of navy blue gear with orange highlights, which may be a subtle tribute to him.
