Edmonton Oilers have hilarious special guest on intermission panel
As a regional broadcast for a smaller market with a die-hard fanbase, the Edmonton Oilers have one of the best broadcasts in the NHL. It gives them the ability to make their broadcast more entertaining, and during yesterday's game, the Oilers did just that with a hilarious special guest.
The Oilers are adding a second team mascot for the holiday season, and with yesterday being a day game with a focus on younger fans, Gene Principe brought on the new mascot for a hilarious interview.
Principe did the best he could with an interview where his guest couldn't speak, and it made for a good comedy bit aimed towards the kids. It also shows the character of Principe, and the organizations willingness to grow the game of hockey with gags like this.
