McDavid gives major update about his personal life
Since being drafted first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2015, Connor McDavid has been the greatest player in the league, and achieved superstar status across North America. However, he's been extremely guarded with his personal life.
McDavid has a well known fiancé, Lauren Kyle, and they've been together for several years now. Now, after their engagement some time ago, McDavid and Kyle have an update on the relationship: their official wedding date has been set to July 27, 2024.
It's fantastic personal news for the Oilers' captain, and all Oilers fans will be happy for for him as well. With their wedding date officially set, perhaps children are in the near future for McDavid.
Also of note, the date is far enough into the summer that it wouldn't overlap with the Stanley Cup Finals - so even in the biggest moments of his personal life, McDavid clearly still has his mind set on winning with the Oilers.
