Jack Campbell's Hockey Career Now in Jeopardy Following Recent News
As Jack Campbell has went to the AHL to find his game again, the $5 Million dollar AAV for the goalie, isn't looking pretty.
Campbell has had three showings in the AHL, with dismal results posting 0-3-0 and a 4.36 GAA and .819 save percentage.
Campbell has let in 13 goals combined on 72 shots, a devastating stat for someone trying to find his footing.
The small sample size in the AHL is just that, Campbell who has yet to find his game elsewhere. The contract with 3 years left is looking ominous for Ken Holland who helped pen the deal.
It's sad to see Jack Campbell fall from grace, after a recent rise to stardom in Toronto. Nothing seems to be going in the right direction for the goalie, but should Ken Holland consider buying him out and letting him find a new home?
A buyout may be cheaper and leave money needed for other player down the road.
It's sad to see him in continual decline, but maybe a fresh start is what is needed for Campbell after his short stint in Edmonton.
