Jay Woodcroft calls out 5 specific players by name
The Edmonton Oilers bottom-six is currently in a slump, as they haven't been producing like they did last year.
The players they have now were expected to do more by Ken Holland and company. One goal has been scored by the bottom six forwards in the last five games.
«Erne is paying the price for the group that hasn't produced. We need more form our bottom-five,» Woodcroft.
This is a dismal statistic for a group of forwards who ripped through teams like a buzzsaw in the post-season.
Consequently, Adam Erne has been sent down to the Bakersfield Condors.
After winning the Battle of Alberta, Sam Gagner's two-way deal may offer the Oilers hope for regaining their form.
