There is now the possibility that Jack Campbell will be promoted back into the Edmonton Oilers lineup.

The Oilers are reportedly looking internally to fix issues plaguing the organization, according to an NHL insider.

In reality, that might not solve the internal problems, which are largely internal.

It feels like it would be too soon to bring Campbell back after his 30-shutout win over the Henderson Silver Knights.

It seems like Ken Holland is using short-term solutions to long-term problems at this point in his career.

Worst management group in the league by a mile

Once again, Dustin Schwartz has slipped through the front-office's eyes as the Oilers goalie coach. This seems like a drastic misapplication of oversight by Jeff Jackson and Ken Holland.

Campbell get another look at some point. After a shaky start his game is turning a bit - we'll see, but solutions must also be found/generated internally.

Finally, if the core players don't find their collective game - and fast - none of this will matter much in the end (end)

In 4 games played with the Bakersfield Condors, Campbell has 1 shutout win, with a 3.26 GAA and a .873 save percentage.
