Corey Perry says Oilers players need to check ego at the door

Edmonton Oilers forward Corey Perry met with reporters after morning skate prior to their game against Buffalo tonight.
Perry was asked about how the players feel with their Head Coach moving the lines around quite a bit trying to find the perfect set up for the playoffs. Perry explained that everyone should not be concerned with who they are playing with or how much ice-time they get, all that matters is that the team is winning.
"You check your ego at the door, it doesn't matter where you play or how much you play as long as the team is winning."

Perry is clearly a leader is this locker room and carries the right mentality of a winning hockey team as he shows, the most important part is that everyone does their job and the Oilers keep winning games.
Perry was signed by the Oilers halfway through the season after being released by the Blackhawks and has been a key part of this lineup. He currently has 8 points in 22 games with a 1 +/- rating this season with the Oilers.
The 38 year-old has had an incredible career in the NHL playing 19 season spanning over 6 different teams. In 1295 games, he has accumulated 426 goals and 474 assists totaling exactly 900 points with 1415 penalty minutes.
