After Game 5, Canucks forward JT Miller said that his line gives Oilers superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl too much respect on the ice.

Miller felt that McDavid and Draisaitl should be challenged more and the Canucks be more aggressive on the duo.

The Canucks took that game however, the Oilers took notice and completely outclassed the Canucks in Game 6 by winning 5-1. The Oilers looked more like the team that would take control of this series early on as they outshot, out chanced and outscored the Canucks.

The Oilers outshot the Canucks 27-15 and put more pressure on their third string goaltender Arturs Silovs. They also forced more turnovers from the Canucks by a margin of 10-6.

These kinds of quotes certainly do not go unnoticed with Connor McDavid factoring into the game as he had three assists and Leon Draisaitl had two.

Game 7 back in Vancouver with no Boeser

The stage is set for a best of one as the series goes to Game 7 back in Vancouver. However, the Canucks received terrible news today that one of their best scores in Brock Boeser was diagnosed with blood clots that will not allow him to play game 7 and may jeopardize his career.

Overall, It's been a fantastic series for the past week and 1/2 and if the Oilers can play like they did in game six with that determination and that much pressure, it will certainly be tougher for the Canucks to move on to the Western Conference Final.
