New Video Surfaces of Edmonton Oilers Partying Hard at McDavid's Wedding
Oilers superstar Connor McDavid tied the knot with Lauren Kyle this summer in an intimate and very private ceremony in the Muskokas, but now videos have finally been released.
A few pictures have been released to this point, but the McDavid's implemented a policy of no cell phone photography among guests to keep the event more private, but also to leave the photography to the professionals.
A film company followed the wedding and reception, and has now shared their extensive coverage of the wedding. Their video includes the full actual ceremony, some narration from Connor and Lauren, as well as the Oilers partying hard in the reception.
Some of these clips have been made public before, but perhaps the gem of the video for Oilers fans is one moment with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl drinking on the dance floor. Both of them look extremely out of it, something Oilers fans won't see anywhere outside of a Stanley Cup celebration.
There was an extended clip of the earlier released video of McDavid dancing on the shoulders of Zach Hyman as well, an awesome sight to see the Oilers superstar partying hard.
McDavid and the Oilers were clearly having a good time in the video, but it wasn't always the case. Just a few weeks earlier, McDavid cancelled his bachelor party due to the heartbreak of losing in the Cup Final.
Some fans may not care much to see anything about the players personal lives, but it is truly great to see McDavid and the Oilers happy off the ice and thriving with their new young families. There's a clear brotherhood on this roster that you can feel in these videos, and that's something that will only make the Oilers stronger.
